When Sharleene first contacted me to discuss me photographing her wedding up in Aberdeen my first thought was where we could initially meet that wasn’t going to be too much of a trek for either of us. She then informed me she actually lived in Cameroon and any meeting might be (just a little) difficult.
No problem however as we’ve worked with overseas-based couples before and with Sharleene and Barry’s meticulous planning everything worked like clockwork on the day – even the weather, which blessed us with a beautiful spring day.
The ceremony took place in the David Welch Winter Gardens in Duthie Park in Aberdeen – a fantastic location on such a gorgeous day. Then it was on to the Palm Court Hotel for the wedding reception. Highlight of the day was the lighting of chinese lanterns, which after a little coaxing slowly lifted off into the night, ending a fantastic day with a very fun crowd.
Here are a few of our personal favourite images from the day.
