A Gleneagles Wedding – Patricia Berredo da Veiga and Martin Allan
A Gleneagles Wedding
Scottish Wedding Photographers always look forward to a wedding at a gorgeous wedding venue and The Gleneagles Hotel has to be way up there as one of Scotland’s most opulent hotels with it’s world famous golf courses, gourmet food in its various restaurants and truly sumptuous accommodation.
Where is Gleneagles Hotel?
Settled right in the heart of Perthshire, Scotland it’s proximity to motorways and airports makes it a fabulous location for a wedding especially for those travelling from afar.
And from afar they certainly were. Martin and Patricia (or ‘Tita’ as she likes to be known) organised their Gleneagles Hotel wedding from Singapore which can’t have been easy but what a fantastic wedding they had.
Tita wore a figure hugging strapless gown with a small train and carried beautiful purple tulips matching very well with the many purple thistles on show. The wedding was truly an international affair – Tita comes from Peru originally with a lot of family making the trip as well as guests from Australia. Martin however did not forget his Scottish roots and wore the traditional tartan kilt to the thrill of all of the foreign guests.
A string quartet played before and after the Wedding ceremony whilst the family and couple photos were taken in the gorgeous grounds of Gleneagles. Loads of lilac rhododendrons were still flowering adding to the purple theme of the day. Then it was off to the Barony Room for the speeches ahead of the gastronomic delights served at the Wedding Breakfast.
