Join Master of Light and Multi-Award winning Photographer Kenny Martin and discover new and exciting photographic lighting techniques. This full day lighting workshop is designed for both new photographers who need to brush up on their lighting skills AND experienced photographers who feel the need to refresh and renew their lighting skills both in the studio and on location.

In a logical and clearly defined way Kenneth will start in the studio and lead you through equipment, metering, lighting ratios, lighting modifiers, and finally white balance.

Kenneth will then demonstrate how each light is used and starting with just a fill light he will show you then how to add a main light, hair light, background light, kicker light, effect lights and build up exciting lighting setups. High key, Low Key, Mid Key, Full Face, 2/3 Face, Profile, Fashion, Butterfly, Porcelain, Sandwich, Split, Backlit and many more lighting patterns will be covered.

Outdoor lighting will also be covered, from natural light to setting up and controlling electronic flash outdoors. Using the excellent and affordable starter lighting kits from Elinchrom, Kenny will help move your portraiture on to the next level.

About Kenneth Martin

Kenneth Martin is quite simply a legend in UK Photographic circles – he has held the Kodak European Gold Award as well as UK Portrait, Wedding and Pet Photographer of the Year.  Kenneth has also Chaired the Kodak European Awards Judging Panel and is a Master Photographer with PhotoTraining4U one of the biggest photography training companies in the world.
